Gaura So White, commonly known as the Bee Blossom plant, is an herbaceous perennial that produces masses of small, white flowers atop rich foliage. The four-petaled flowers are borne on wiry stems from late spring through summer above the narrow, green leaves. The flowers move like butterflies in light breezes as it grows to about 50 cm tall and the same wide. Gaura So White is commonly included in borders and mixed plantings, added to cottage and “white” gardens, maintained in a container, or mass planted.

Gaura So White Details

Gaura So White is an herbaceous perennial that produces masses of small, white flowers atop rich foliage. The four-petaled flowers are borne on wiry stems from late spring through summer above the narrow, green leaves. The flowers move like butterflies in light breezes. It grows as a mound to about 50 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun. Gaura So White is commonly included in borders and mixed plantings, added to cottage and “white” gardens, maintained in a container, or mass planted. In colder regions it is often treated as an annual and replanted each year. This plant is highly valued for its long flowering and is often used as a cut flower.
