Showy clusters of two-tone pink flowers are borne as large sprays during summer. They are borne above the lush and fern-like foliage which serves as a fantastic backdrop as it grows to about 1 m tall and the same wide. Geranium maderense is commonly included in borders and mixed plantings, added to cottage and sub-tropical gardens, planted around pool and other living areas, or grown around the base of larger trees.

Geranium maderense, commonly known as the Madeira Cranesbill, is an herbaceous perennial grown for its lush foliage and pretty flowers. Showy clusters of two-tone pink flowers are borne as large sprays during summer. They are borne above the lush and fern-like foliage which serves as a fantastic backdrop. It grows as a mound to about 1 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of short periods of dry and light frost only. Geranium maderense is commonly included in borders and mixed plantings, added to cottage and sub-tropical gardens, planted around pool and other living areas, or grown around the base of larger trees.
