It grows as a mound to about 30 cm tall and 40 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of light frost only. Geranium Sue Crug is commonly included in borders, rock gardens, and cottage gardens. It also suits being grown in a container or mass planted which will give an impressive display. Allowing it to trail over a wall or rock also provides for a spectacular show.
