Geum montanum is grown for its stunning flowers from late spring through summer. It produces masses of yellow flowers on short stems above the lush, green foliage. It will tolerate moderate frost, cool climates, and periods of dry, but in cool climates it may die back during winter to regrow again when conditions warm.
