Geum montanum, Geum montanum L, Geum alpinum
Geum montanum is grown for its stunning flowers from late spring through summer. It produces masses of yellow flowers on short stems above the lush, green foliage. This herbaceous perennial grows as a dense clump to about 15 cm tall and 30 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. Geum montanum is commonly included in borders, used in cottage gardens, planted to attract butterflies, or mass planted for an impressive display.
