Helleborus Connie

Hellebore

“Connie” is a variety of Hellebore prized for its stunning flowers and foliage. The foliage is dark green and gives rise to the most interesting flowers through spring. During this time, stems rise above the foliage to reveal white flowers speckled with dark red-purple. The display is quite outstanding. This herbaceous perennial grows as a clump to about 40 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It has a root system that enables it to regrow again in spring if cold conditions or frost kills off the foliage. “Connie ” is an ideal plant for cottage or tropical gardens, for mixed and border plantings, or planting for fabulous spring colour. A mass planting provides a truly impressive display.
