Blondie Coral Bells

Blondie Coral Bells, otherwise known as Heuchera Blondie, is an herbaceous perennial grown for its richly coloured foliage. The scallop-shaped leaves are caramel-brown coloured and take on red-orange tones during winter. They become adorned with tall flower spikes during late spring until mid-autumn that bear cream-coloured flowers that age to yellow. It typically grows to 20 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun or partial shade. It is tolerant of short periods of dry, cool climates, and moderate frost, though in these conditions it may die back during winter to regrow in spring. Blondie Coral Bells is commonly used for adding colour, used to provide a colour contrast, included in borders or mixed plantings, added to cottage and tropical gardens, or planted around outdoor living areas.
