Coral Bells Ruby Veil

Coral Bells Ruby Veil is an herbaceous perennial grown for its interestingly coloured foliage which is purple with cream-silver mottling. Flower spikes carrying tiny, cream-coloured flowers emerge above the foliage in summer and may reach as tall as 80 cm. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun or partial shade. It is tolerant of short periods of dry and in cold climates it may die back during winter to regenerate in spring. Coral Bells Ruby Veil is commonly used for adding colour, to contrast with other plant colours, grown in a container, included in borders, or added to a mixed planting.
