Hosta Earth Angel Details

Hosta Earth Angel features foliage that is blue-green with a wide, yellow margin. In summer, lavender flowers are borne atop tall stems which are followed by seed heads that attract birds. This herbaceous perennial typically grows to only 50 cm tall and 60 cm wide and in cold climates it may die off during winter to regrow again in spring. It grows best in a full sun or partial shade position on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost and cold climates but should not be allowed to dry out. Hosta Earth Angel is commonly planted as a groundcover, included in borders, used in tropical and cottage gardens, or planted around outdoor living areas.
