Hosta Francee Details

Hosta Francee features lush foliage and pretty flowers. The foliage comprises mid-green leaves with a wide, white-cream margin. In summer, white, bell-shaped flowers are borne atop short stems which are followed by seed heads that are great for attracting birds. This herbaceous perennial typically grows to 50 cm tall and 80 cm wide and in cold climates it may die off during winter to regrow again in spring. It grows best in a full sun or partial shade position on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost and cold climates but should not be allowed to dry out. Hosta Francee is commonly used as a ground cover, added to borders, maintained in a container, included in tropical and cottage gardens, or mass planted on a bank or the like.
