Hosta Krossa Regal is grown for its wavy, frosty, blue-green foliage. An orange hue becomes present during winter in cooler climates. In summer, bell-shaped, lilac flowers appear and are held neatly above the foliage. This herbaceous perennial typically grows to 60 cm tall and 50 cm wide. It grows best in a full sun or partial shade position on a well-drained, sheltered site. Hosta Krossa Regal is commonly used as a ground cover, added to borders, maintained in a container, included in tropical and cottage gardens, or mass planted on a bank or the like.

Hosta Krossa Regal Details

Hosta Krossa Regal is grown for its wavy, frosty, blue-green foliage. An orange hue becomes present during winter in cooler climates. In summer, bell-shaped, lilac flowers appear and are held neatly above the foliage. These are followed by seed heads that attract birds. This herbaceous perennial typically grows to 60 cm tall and 50 cm wide and in cold climates it may die off during winter to regrow again in spring. It grows best in a full sun or partial shade position on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost and cold climates but should not be allowed to dry out. Hosta Krossa Regal is commonly used as a ground cover, added to borders, maintained in a container, included in tropical and cottage gardens, or mass planted on a bank or the like.
