Hosta Sagae, Sagae Hosta, Hosta fluctuans Sagae
Hosta Sagae is grown for its foliage which is upright, powdery grey-green edged with white-cream streaks. In summer, bell-shaped, lilac flowers appear and are held neatly above the foliage. This herbaceous perennial will grow to about 1 m wide and 75 cm tall and in cold climates it may die off during winter to regrow again in spring. Hosta Sagae is commonly used in tropical and cottage gardens, mass planted as a groundcover, included in borders, maintained in a container, or planted around outdoor living areas.
