Hosta Twilight is grown for its foliage which comprises large leaves with a dark green centre and cream margin. In summer, bell-shaped, lilac flowers appear and are held neatly above the foliage. This herbaceous perennial will grow to about 60 cm wide and 50 cm tall and in cold climates it may die off during winter to regrow again in spring. Hosta Twilight is commonly used in tropical and cottage gardens, mass planted as a groundcover, included in borders, maintained in a container, or planted around outdoor living areas.

Hosta Twilight Details

Hosta Twilight is grown for its foliage which comprises large leaves with a dark green centre and cream margin. In summer, bell-shaped, lilac flowers appear and are held neatly above the foliage and are followed by seed heads that attract birds. This herbaceous perennial will grow to about 60 cm wide and 50 cm tall and in cold climates it may die off during winter to regrow again in spring. It grows best in a full sun or partial shade position on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost and cold climates but should not be allowed to dry out. Hosta Twilight is commonly used in tropical and cottage gardens, mass planted as a groundcover, included in borders, maintained in a container, or planted around outdoor living areas.
