Ligularia dentata Midnight Lady is an herbaceous perennial grown for its foliage and flowers. Stems emerge during summer bearing clusters of bright, orange, daisy-like flowers. They rise above the large and rounded, dark green-purple leaves. It grows as a clump to about 90 cm tall and 70 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It will tolerate light frost once established but does require year-round moisture to perform.
