Commonly known as Creeping Jenny, this is an herbaceous perennial grown for its bright and trailing foliage. It produces lush, golden yellow leaves which are held densely off short stems. It typically grows to 10 cm tall and 50 cm wide, performing best grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of cool climates and moderate frost and in these environments may die back to regrow again when conditions warm. “Goldilocks” is commonly grown in a container (indoors and outdoors) and allowed to trail over the sides. It is also well suited to being included in a mixed or border planting, used in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, or planted to spill over a retaining wall or out onto a path.
