Golden Globes
Commonly known as Golden Globes, this is an herbaceous perennial (almost shrub) grown for its bright flowers and lovely foliage. It produces lush, mid-green leaves which are held densely off short stems. The foliage is adorned with golden flowers borne through summer. It typically grows to 10 cm tall and 25 cm wide, performing best grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of cool climates and moderate frost and in these environments may die back to regrow again when conditions warm. Golden Globes is commonly included in a mixed or border planting, included in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, or maintained in a container.
