Nepeta Six Hills Giant Details

“Six Hills Giant” is a variety of the commonly known, Catmint, and is grown for its foliage and pretty flowers. This herbaceous perennial grows as low-growing mound of fragrant, grey-green foliage to about 50 cm tall and 75 cm wide. Through summer and autumn short stems rise above the foliage bearing clusters of lavender blue flowers. The display is very striking. Best growth is achieved when planted on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun. It is tolerant of dry conditions but should be protected from frosts. “Six Hills Giant” is a versatile plant that is commonly used as an accent plant, for border planting along pathways or garden edges, in herb gardens, or grown in a container. It will attract cats and the flowers are great for attracting birds and bees.
