“Heaven Scent” is a popular variety of Polemonium due to its foliage and flowers. This clump forming, herbaceous perennial produces lush, dark green, fern-like foliage. The foliage is complemented with masses of showy, lightly fragrant, dark blue flowers in spring and summer. It typically grows to 30-50 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It will tolerate frost and cool climates, and in these environments may die back to regrow again when conditions warm. “Heaven Scent” is commonly included in cottage gardens, borders, or mass planted for an amazing display.
