Soleirolia Yellow

Angels Tears, Pollyanna Vine, Irish Moss

Commonly known as Babys Tears, this herbaceous perennial features small and rounded leaves that cascade down slender, yet fragile stems. The golden leaves are complemented with masses of tiny, white flowers in spring. It grows as a dense mat and will quickly reach 5 cm tall and 50 cm wide. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is positioned in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site that does not dry out. Babys Tears is commonly planted alongside ferns and other moisture-loving plants. Its spreading habit makes it ideal for growing in a container where it will spill over the sides or for using as a groundcover. It is commonly grown as an indoor plant.
