Tiarella Dark Eyes, commonly known as the Foam Flower, is an herbaceous perennial grown for both its foliage and flowers. It grows as a clump, producing large, green, maple-shaped leaves with a black blotch in the centre. As winter progresses the leaves develop a bronze-purple colouring. Through spring it produces spikes of soft-pink flowers which rise above the foliage as it grows to 20 cm tall and 30 cm wide. Tiarella Dark Eyes is commonly included in mixed and border plantings, used in cottage gardens, grown in a container, planted beneath larger trees and shrubs, or mass planted for an amazing display.

Tiarella Dark Eyes, commonly known as the Foam Flower, is an herbaceous perennial grown for both its foliage and flowers. It grows as a clump, producing large, green, maple-shaped leaves with a black blotch in the centre. As winter progresses the leaves develop a bronze-purple colouring. Through spring it produces spikes of soft-pink flowers which rise above the foliage. It typically grows to 20 cm tall and 30 cm wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun or partial shade. It is tolerant of dry period and in cold regions it will die back during winter but regrow again in spring.
