Abelia grandiflora Hopleys, commonly known as Glossy Abelia, produces stunning flowers and colourful foliage. This easy to grow shrub produces masses of scented, white flowers which emerge from pink buds during summer and autumn. The flowers are complemented with finely textured, bright green leaves with butter yellow edges. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained, semi-sheltered site. It is tolerant of moderate frost, coastal environments, and short periods of dry.
