Small, pale yellow, ball shaped flowers are sometimes produced in spring. It typically grows to 70 cm tall and 1 m wide, performing best on a well-drained site in full sun or partial shade. It is frost tolerant and will grow well in coastal environments though does benefit from having wind protection.
