Agonis juniperina, commonly known as the Australian Cedar or Juniper Myrtle, is an upright, bushy, shrub featuring masses of petite flowers. The white flowers are produced from spring through autumn and literally transform the plant. They are held on gently arching branches which also host the small, dark green leaves as it grows to 3 m tall and the same wide. Agonis juniperina is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in coastal gardens, or planted as backdrop for smaller plants.

Australian Cedar

Australian Cedar is the common name for Agonis juniperina, an upright, bushy, shrub featuring masses of petite flowers. The white flowers are produced from spring through autumn and literally transform the plant. They are held on gently arching branches which also host the small, dark green leaves. It typically grows to 3 m tall and the same wide though can be trimmed as necessary which will encourage new growth. Best results with this shrub are achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of coastal conditions, frost, cool climates, and will grow on a range of soil types, barring extreme wet and dry. Australian Cedar is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in coastal gardens, or planted as backdrop for smaller plants.
