Azalea Albert Elizabeth Details

Azalea Albert Elizabeth is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering from late winter through spring. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of medium-sized, semi-double flowers that are white with a coral-coloured edge. It typically grows to 70 cm tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. Plants are tolerant of frost and cold environments but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt plants. Azalea Albert Elizabeth is a great choice for container growing, planting under trees and shrubs, including in cottage gardens, or planting anywhere a stunning plant is required.
