Azalea Dreamtime is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of large and showy, soft-pink blooms in spring. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact with better flowering. Plants are tolerant of frost and cool climates but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. Azalea Dreamtime is a great choice for adding to a mixed or border planting, planting around outdoor living areas such as pool and barbecue area, including in cottage gardens, or using anywhere a stunning plant is required. Mass planting provides an amazing display with this variety.
