Azalea Gretel Details

Azalea Gretel is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of scented, semi-double, pink and white flowers from winter until late spring. It grows compactly to about 60 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of moderate frost but should be protected while establishing. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. Azalea Gretel is a great choice for growing in a container, adding to a mixed planting, using in borders, planting around the base of larger trees, or planting anywhere a stunning plant is required.
