Azalea Nuccios Dew Drop is a lovely variety due to its tidy growth habit and profuse flowering through spring. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of showy, semi-double pink flowers with a darker pink blush. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a full sun or semi-shade position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. Plants are tolerant of frost and cool climates, but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants.
