“Peachy Perfect” is a variety of Azalea grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, deciduous shrub produces masses of fragrant and delicate, salmon-peach-coloured blooms with a light-yellow flare through spring. It typically grows to 1.2 m tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. Plants are tolerant of frost and cold environments but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. “Peachy Perfect” is a great choice for container growing, adding to a mixed or border planting, planting around outdoor living areas, or using anywhere a stunning plant is required. A mass planting produces an amazing display.
