Azalea Seikai Details

Azalea Seikai is a lovely variety due to its tidy growth habit and profuse flowering through spring. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of showy, semi-double white flowers. It typically grows to 80 cm tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a full sun or semi-shade position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. Plants are tolerant of frost and cool climates, but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. Azalea Seikai is a great choice for adding to a mixed or border planting, planting around outdoor living areas such as pool and barbecue areas, including in cottage and white gardens, or using anywhere a stunning plant is required. Mass planting provides for an amazing display with this variety.
