Azalea Startrek Details

Azalea Startrek is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of showy, double, white flowers with a green throat from late winter through spring. It typically grows to 60 cm tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. Plants are tolerant of frost and cold environments but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. Azalea Startrek is a great choice for container growing, planting around the base of trees and larger shrubs, including in a mixed planting, using in cottage and “white” gardens, or using anywhere a stunning plant is required.
