Boronia denticulata, Mauve Boronia
Boronia denticulata, commonly known as the Mauve Boronia, is an evergreen shrub grown for its lovely display of mauve-pink flowers through winter and spring. The lightly fragrant, bell-shaped flowers are held amidst the fine, light green, aromatic foliage. It typically grows to 1.5 m high and 1 m wide. Boronia denticulata is commonly used in mixed plantings, planted around barbecue and other outdoor living areas, clipped into a hedge, or used as an attractive backdrop for smaller plants.
