Brachyglottis greyi

Daisy Bush, Brachyglottis greyi, Senecio greyi, Brachyglottis greyii, Resin Bush, Senecio Brachyglottis greyi

Brachyglottis greyii is a NZ native shrub that features colourful foliage and flowers. The grey-green leaves are adorned with masses of yellow, daisy-like flowers through spring and summer. This evergreen shrub typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, preferring a full sun position that is well-drained. Wet soils should be avoided though it is tolerant of moderate frost and coastal conditions. It can be trimmed to maintain a shapely form and this should be undertaken after flowering. Brachyglottis greyii works well in most plantings and is great for brightening up an area. It is often included in a mixed planting, planted around outdoor living areas, used in coastal gardens, or mass planted. It is easy to grow and very forgiving.
