Brunfelsia pauciflora, commonly known as the Yesterday Today and Tomorrow plant, or Morning Noon and Night plant, is a colourful evergreen shrub renowned for its attractive and varied flower colours. Masses of sweetly fragrant, pansy like flowers are produced through spring and summer, literally transforming the plant. Most interestingly though, the flowers open blue-violet then fade to lavender before finally turning white. It grows as a rounded cushion of leathery, green leaves to about 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide. Brunfelsia pauciflora is commonly grown as a hedge, added to a mixed planting, planted around outdoor living areas, or used in cottage gardens.

Brunfelsia pauciflora, commonly known as the Yesterday Today and Tomorrow plant, or Morning Noon and Night plant, is a colourful evergreen shrub renowned for its attractive and varied flower colours. Masses of sweetly fragrant, pansy like flowers are produced through spring and summer, literally transforming the plant. Most interestingly though, the flowers open blue-violet then fade to lavender before finally turning white. It grows as a rounded cushion of leathery, green leaves to about 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade with good drainage and plenty of summer moisture. It is not suited to cold, frosty, or exposed sites. Brunfelsia pauciflora is commonly grown as a hedge, added to a mixed planting, planted around outdoor living areas, or used in cottage gardens.
