Buxus sempervirens Suffruticosa produces masses of small, dark green leaves. The foliage is held densely on short stems with new growth being a refreshing, light green. Left untrimmed it will eventually grow to 1 m tall and the same wide but is often trimmed to much smaller sizes. Buxus Suffruticosa is commonly trimmed into a small hedge, used for topiary, or maintained in a container.
