Callistemon kenmorrisonii Betka Beauty, commonly known as Bottlebrush, is a compact shrub renowned for its attractive foliage and bottlebrush like flowers. New leaves are a fresh, light green colour, and are held on red stems. The foliage is complemented with masses of showy, red, bottlebrush-like flowers though spring and summer which attract birds and bees. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and 1.3 m wide, growing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It tolerates a wide variety of climatic conditions including moderate frost, dry periods, coastal environments, and most soil types barring the extremes of wet and dry. Callistemon Betka Beauty is an easy to grow and relatively low maintenance plant that is commonly used in mixed plantings, grown as a small specimen, planted as a backdrop for smaller plants, planted around outdoor living areas, or maintained in a container.
