Callistemon Little Jet is a compact shrub grown for its petite, bottlebrush-like flowers and attractive foliage. Masses of the bright red flowers and produced through spring and are complemented with fresh-green foliage. The new foliage emerges a fabulous red colour and it typically grows to 1.8 m tall and 1.5 m wide. Callistemon Little Jet is commonly used for screening and shelter, grown as a specimen, included in a mixed planting, or clipped into a hedge.

Callistemon Little Jet Details

Callistemon Little Jet is a compact shrub grown for its petite, bottlebrush-like flowers and attractive foliage. Masses of the bright red flowers and produced through spring and are complemented with fresh-green foliage. New foliage emerges a fabulous red colour. This evergreen grows with an upright habit to about 1.8 m tall and 1.5 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. It grows best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site, and will tolerate a wide variety of climatic conditions including frost, coastal environments, and most soil conditions barring extreme wet and dry. This makes it an easy to grow and relatively low maintenance plant. Callistemon Little Jet is commonly used for screening and shelter, grown as a specimen, included in a mixed planting, or clipped into a hedge. Space plants 50-60 cm apart for hedging.
