Callistemon Red Willow is a large and vigorous shrub renowned for its attractive foliage and bottlebrush like flowers. Masses of large, red flowers are borne from spring through autumn and are held off pendulous branches. The flowers are great for attracting birds and bees and bring great vibrancy to a space. It typically grows to 4 m tall and 3 m wide but can be trimmed as necessary. Red Willow grows best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It tolerates a wide variety of climatic conditions including frost and coastal environments as well as most soil types. This makes it an easy to grow and relatively low maintenance plant.
