Callistemon Slim is a variety of the commonly known Bottlebrush, and is grown for its narrow growth habit and pretty flowers. It grows as a multi-trunked shrub with small, mid-dark green foliage held densely. Through spring and summer, it produces masses of the spectacular red flowers to literally transform the plant as it grows to 2.5 m tall and 1.3 m wide. Callistemon viminalis Slim is commonly used for hedging or screening. It is also well suited to planting around outdoor living areas, including in mixed plantings, growing as a small specimen, using as a backdrop for smaller plants, or simply maintaining in a container.

It grows as a multi-trunked shrub with small, mid-dark green foliage held densely. Through spring and summer, it produces masses of the spectacular red flowers to literally transform the plant. It typically grows to 2.5 m tall and 1.3 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. It has a great resilience to a wide variety of climatic conditions and soil types making it an easy plant to grow. This Bottlebrush grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. Callistemon viminalis Slim is commonly used for hedging or screening with plants spaced 50 cm apart.
