Blizzard Camellia

The Blizzard Camellia produces masses of semi-double, white flowers in spring and autumn. They are mildly fragrant and produced amidst the small, green leaves, which affords a lovely contrast. This evergreen typically grows to 4 m tall and 2.5 m wide, and can be contained with trimming. Best results with this shrub are achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained soil that is slightly acidic. It is tolerant of cool and humid climates as well as moderate frost once established. The Blizzard Camellia is commonly grown as specimen, clipped into a hedge, added to a mixed planting, used in cottage and “white” gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, or used as a backdrop for smaller plants.
