Camellia Cornish Snow is a hybrid variety that features masses of small, fragrant, single, white flowers with yellow stamens. These are produced from spring through early summer and are complemented with glossy, green leaves. This evergreen shrub grows to about 5 m tall and 3 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. It performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained soil that is slightly acidic. It is tolerant of cool and humid climates as well as moderate frost once established. Cornish Snow is commonly added to a mixed planting, used in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, included in “white” gardens, or maintained in a container.
