Shiro Chan Camellia, Camellia japonica Shiro Chan
Camellia japonica Shiro Chan is renowned for its exquisite, semi-double, white flowers. These are produced during spring and autumn, and contrast nicely with the glossy, dark green leaves as it grows to 3.5 m tall and 2.5 m wide. Camellia Shiro Chan is commonly grown as specimen, clipped into a hedge, added to a mixed planting, used in cottage or “white” gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, or used as a backdrop for smaller plants.
