Little Gem Camellia

Camellia Little Gem is a dwarf variety that produces miniature, single flowers which are pure white with a hint of yellow at the centre. These are produced through spring and contrast well with the glossy, green foliage as it grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide. Camellia Little Gem is commonly grown as specimen, clipped into a small hedge, used in cottage and “white” gardens, or maintained as a patio plant in a container.

Camellia Little Gem is a dwarf variety that produces miniature, single flowers which are pure white with a hint of yellow at the centre. These are produced through spring and contrast well with the glossy, green foliage. It is relatively compact plant and typically grows to only 50 cm tall and the same wide. It grows best in full sun on a well-drained soil that is slightly acidic, and is tolerant of cool and humid climates, as well as moderate frost once established. Camellia Little Gem is commonly grown as specimen, clipped into a small hedge, used in cottage and “white” gardens, or maintained as a patio plant in a container.
