Camellia sasanqua Marge Miller is an evergreen shrub that produces double, pink flowers with a pretty yellow centre from winter through spring. These spectacular blooms are accentuated by the glossy, dark green foliage. It grows with a somewhat prostrate habit to about 30 cm tall and 1.2 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained soil that is slightly acidic. It is tolerant of cool and humid climates as well as moderate frost once established.
