The Sunsong Camellia is grown for its double, bright pink flowers through winter and spring. The showy blooms are complemented with glossy, dark green foliage. This evergreen shrub grows relatively compactly with an upright habit to about 2.5 m tall and 2 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. It performs best when grown in full sun on a well-drained soil that is slightly acidic, and is tolerant of frost once established as well as cool, and humid climates.
