Camellia x williamsii Superstar is an evergreen shrub that produces large and showy, crisp white blooms with a centre of white stamens tipped gold. These appear from winter through spring and contrast well with the glossy, dark green foliage. It is relatively compact plant with an upright growth habit and typically reaches 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide. Best performance with this variety is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained soil that is slightly acidic.
