Ceanothus Mountain Haze Details

Ceanothus Mountain Haze features attractive foliage and flowers. It becomes coated with clusters of pretty, dark blue flowers during spring. These are borne at the ends of arching stems that also host small, glossy, dark green leaves. It typically grows to 2.3 m tall and the same wide but can be trimmed as necessary. It prefers a sunny position with good drainage and will tolerate some coastal exposure and frost once established. Ceanothus Mountain Haze is commonly used in mixed plantings, as a backdrop for smaller plants, or trimmed into a hedge. Trimming after flowering will help keep the foliage dense.
