Ceanothus Yankee Point is an evergreen shrub grown for its tidy growth habit and prolific flowering. It grows as a mound of overlapping branches to about 1 m tall and 3 m wide, bearing small and glossy, dark green leaves. Masses of showy, blue flowers are borne in spring at the ends of stems and literally transform the plant. It grows best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site and is tolerant of frost once established.
