Ceratopetalum Wild Fire Details

Ceratopetalum Wild Fire, commonly known as the Australian Christmas Bush is a stunning, evergreen shrub favoured for its colourful flowers and foliage. Masses of red-pink, star shaped flowers open during spring literally transform the plant. The flowers result in small red fruits which will stay on the plant for many weeks. The fine, glossy, dark green foliage provides a lovely backdrop to the flowers and berries. It typically grows to 5 m tall and 3 m wide, performing best in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of dry periods, some wind, and coastal environments. Ceratopetalum Wild Fire is commonly used as a specimen, as a small shade tree, as a colourful screening plant, or planted in clusters to make a statement in the landscape.
