Chaenomeles Red Rambler is a hardy shrub that features lovely flowers in winter. This deciduous shrub produces an arching network of thorny branches that host clusters of flowers buds that open during winter to reveal deep-red blooms. These are followed by berries that look like small quinces. The leaves emerge fresh green in spring, age to become dark green, then develop yellow and red tones in autumn before falling.
