The leaves are narrow and highly aromatic when crushed. It typically grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide with a somewhat open habit. Chamelaucium Cha Cha is commonly included in mixed plantings, used for screening, or planted as a backdrop for smaller plants.

Chamelaucium Cha Cha, commonly known as Geraldton Wax or the Waxflower plant, is one of Australia’s most popular wildflowers. It is also widely used as a cut flower which lasts for well over a week when cut. It grows as a medium sized shrub and produces pretty, pink, wax-like flowers from late winter through into summer. The leaves are narrow and highly aromatic when crushed. It typically grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide with a somewhat open habit. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is a hardy plant that is tolerant of frost, cool climates, dry periods, and wind.
