Chamelaucium uncinatum, commonly known as the Wax Flower or Geraldton Wax Tree, is one of Australia’s most popular wildflowers. It is also widely used as a cut flower which lasts for well over a week when cut. It grows as a large shrub and produces pink, wax-like flowers from late winter through into summer. The leaves are narrow and highly aromatic when crushed. It typically grows to 4 m tall and 3 m wide with a somewhat open habit.
